diep~haven is a cross-channel festival of contemporary creation which takes place annually in East Sussex, UK and Normandy, France, rooted in the towns of Newhaven and Dieppe. In 2018 the festival increases its geographic reach: with artist residencies, solo and group exhibitions, engagement projects and participatory events taking place from Brighton to Rye in East Sussex, and from Dieppe to Yvetot in Normandy.

Newhaven Gig Rowing Club (NGRC) are appealing for funding from the Aviva Community Fund to help aid them in continuing their mission of getting more local people out on the water. So far, NGRC has over 300 active members and goes on almost 70 rows each month, even in the winter.
